With reference to tax law, we assist major automobile manufacturers, as well as their respective “captive” banks. In addition, we follow primary multinational groups active in the field of car rental, in its various activities (operating rental, leasing, etc.) with regard to both short and long-term rental of vehicles for personal use, as well as industrial and luxury vehicles. The consulting activity focuses on the optimization of the tax burden arising from automobile taxes, such as, IPT, Regional Automobile Tax (so-called “vignette auto”), Insurance Tax, eco-taxes, eco-bonus etc. In this context, we have obtained important judgments of annulment of tax assessments regarding the vast litigation concerning car rental companies that have transferred their registered office from Rome or Milan to the territories of the provinces of Bolzano, Trento, Aosta.
