CHINA DESK
LIPANI has set up a China Desk linking Italy and Europe to Greater China (mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao). The China Desk – which will be coordinated by our partner Ernesto Pucci active in the areas of Corporate M&A, Real Estate and Insurance – focuses on both INBOUND and OUTBOUND activities. These latter also thanks to our of counsel Francesco Colcerasa, chartered accountant, with offices in Shenzen (China).

In this respect, we are able to assist from the preliminary steps activities (advise on regulatory and tax framework, set up of representative office, branch or subsidiary, corporate governance, drafting of commercial agreements and any other aspect related to the day by day activities), up to more complex activities such as those related to possible investments (drafting and negotiation of investment agreements, shareholders agreements, EPC, O&M contracts, etc.) and to possible litigations (on civil, administrative, regulatory and tax matters).

Where required, LIPANI has also a network of consolidated relationships with leading European law firms (amongst others in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Spain, Romania, Scandinavian countries, Switzerland and United Kingdom) and can support Chinese clients in Europe businesses.

The Firm assist clients who intend developing their own business in Greater China, Hong Kong and Macao by providing them with the experience gained in assisting its own clients who chose to pursue the path of internationalization also through a platform of integrated professional services (in areas of real estate, corporate, employment and accounting consultancy, etc.), specifically developed to facilitate Italian businesses with the start-up of new entrepreneurial activities in China also through the support of a network of selected lawyers/firms with whom the professionals of LIPANI already maintains consolidated relationships.
