Renewable Sources
We deal with the development of projects using renewable sources, particularly wind farms, photovoltaic plants and solar thermal plants. In this framework, we handle all authorization procedures related to these initiatives, the drafting and negotiation of EPC, O&M and BOP contracts, other contracts related to the acquisition of land and real rights for the implementation of initiatives and the funding of the related projects. We have gained extensive experience in drafting contracts for the purchase or sale of renewable energy projects and related due diligence procedures. Our professionals also advise on procedures and criteria for obtaining facilities and incentives to produce energy from renewable sources.
Oil & Gas
Our professionals have extensive experience in permits and authorizations for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons, operating agreements between co-owners and contracts for the exploration and production of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons, and concessions for the distribution of natural gas. In this context, we have dealt with projects for the construction of regasification terminals, oil and gas pipelines, biogas production facilities, and natural gas storage projects. We also handle litigation before the Electricity and Gas Authority concerning the import of natural gas and access to the national distribution network.
Energy Efficiency
We have developed specific expertise in the new practice of energy efficiency law, advising leading companies operating in the industry, with particular reference to contracting.
Electricity trading and green certificates
We have gained recognized experience in the trading of electricity, Green Certificates and derivative products involving the same goods, as well as procedures relating to the import and export of electricity within and outside the EU. Our professionals maintain relations with the various sector authorities such as the Electricity and Gas Authority, GSE and GME and Terna.
Thermoelectric power plant development and construction projects
Our activities include legal assistance related to the construction, operation and maintenance of power plants, including the supply and distribution of electricity, as well as the supervision of every aspect of the project implementation (obtaining permits, environmental issues, interconnection, financing).
